COURSE DESCRIPTION: Seminar course focusing on introduction
to the curriculum strands within a framework of caring. Concepts
providing the foundation of the nursing curriculum include health, client/person,
professional nursing, environment, and critical thinking. Overview
of levels of prevention, nursing theories and therapeutic communication
are addressed.
